CONSTRUCTION:

Solid: 3/4" T&G being the standard with smaller
thickness to 5/16"
Engineered: 3/4" down to 1/4" engineered with 3 or
more layers
INSTALLATION METHODS:

Nailed - Stapled - Always following the manufacturers direction
and recommended staples/nails and nailing schedule
Floating- The newest for of installation as per manufacturers
direction this method is often used in areas not always suitable for
other products. The most common being below grade
Glued (engineered only) per manufacturers recommendations in
proper area
FINISHES
Unfinished: this product requires job site
sanding &
staining/finishing with the stain and finish of your choice.
(oil or water base)

Prefinished or Factory Finished: Stains & finishes of many
type are applied at the factory, and are ready for installation. With
today's modern technologically advanced wood floor finishes, these products provide long lasting beauty

Domestic: many times reclaimed or recovered pine, fir from older
buildings with red & white oak being to most common manufactured
species
Exotic / Imported: many varieties from countries around the
world, with South American, and far eastern products leading the
industry.
